WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court wrangled with the question of private lawyers who work on government internal investigations have qualified immunity from civil rights lawsuits.
A city can’t enforce a policy requiring police officers to disclose confidential medical information to supervisors as a condition of returning to work after sick leave, a U.S. District Court in Ohio has ruled.
