Oregon cap on damages against municipalities upheld
A $200,000 cap on damages against public agencies did not violate a personal injury plaintiff’s right to a remedy under the state constitution, the Oregon Supreme Court has ruled in answering a certified question from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
