Apparently, there is no end to what you can buy at a dollar store. One South Carolina woman found to her ever-lasting regret that dollar store shoppers can actually buy prescription colored contact lenses – without the bother of a prescription. Now, after losing vision in one eye, the unfortunate woman must proceed with her product liability claims under the unforgiving standard of FDA preemption.
