Drug maker to settle suits over contaminated vials for $285M

After three consecutive 9-figure losses in front of juries, drug maker Teva has agreed to set aside $285 million to settle cases alleging that oversized vials of the anesthetic propofol caused an outbreak of hepatitis C in 2008.
