According to a report by Cornerstone Research and Stanford Law School’s Securities Class Action Clearinghouse (Via ABA Journal), subprime-related litigation is driving up the number of lawsuits seeking and gaining class action status. Of the 110 class action lawsuits filed in the first half of this year, more than half were subprime suits.
