Five years ago, Robyn Frankel’s family debated whether to take her off life support. Doctors advised that she had only a three percent chance of coming out of a coma, and that even if she did she would be a vegetable. But her family remembered her last words – “I don’t want to die” – and could not bring themselves to pull the plug.
