The Connecticut Senate has passed legislation that would provide protection from gender identity discrimination under the state’s anti-discrimination laws.

Salt Lake City enacted an ordinance on November 10 that prohibits employment and housing discrimination “because of a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.” Exemptions include religious and government organizations and employers with less than 15 employees.
