John Hardy Jackson was licensed as a foster parent. The sex acts he forced the children in his care to perform sent him to prison for 220 years.  His behavior has also persuaded a civil court jury in San Jose to award $30 million to one of his male victims, who is now 25.

The Oregon Department of Human Services has agreed to pay $2 million for the future care of twins allegedly abused by their foster parents to the point that they will need care for the rest of their lives.
