Florida Bar investigates two attorneys accused of stealing clients (access required)

The Florida Bar filed a complaint with the state Supreme Court against William Henry Winters and Marc Edward Yonker, saying they should be disciplined for violating more than a dozen rules regulating the ethics of lawyers.

A local bar association didn’t violate state unfair trade practices law when it refused to sell its membership mailing list to a businessman who offered low-cost mediation in competition with its members’ services, the California Court of Appeal has ruled in affirming a dismissal.
