Benchmarks: Oops! Mom gets vitamins instead of birth control pills (access required)

A Wisconsin woman noticed that the birth control pills she received from her family health clinic in February 2009 looked a little different. A positive pregnancy test ten weeks later removed any doubt that she had been given prenatal vitamins instead. Wednesday, a state court gave the young mother a slight glimmer of hope in her personal injury suit against the clinic.
