LASIK suit barred by statute of repose

A seven-year statute of repose barred the medical malpractice claim of a plaintiff who claimed that LASIK surgery performed in 2000 caused his sight to deteriorate years later, a Pennsylvania appellate court has ruled in reversing judgment.
