Deaf ER patient may seek damages under Rehab Act

A hearing-impaired patient could pursue damages under the Rehabilitation Act after her repeated requests for a sign-language interpreter were allegedly ignored by emergency room doctors, the 11th Circuit has ruled in reversing a summary judgment.
