A state law requiring a reduction in benefits for nonresident aliens is constitutional, the Iowa Supreme Court has ruled. The decedent died in a work-related accident while working for an employer in Iowa. He had been married in a religious ceremony in 1987 in Mexico. The couple had several children in Mexico.
