An independent contractor who was denied a position with a regional hospital could sue for disability discrimination under federal law, the 9th Circuit has ruled in reversing a summary judgment.
The plaintiff is an anesthesiologist who suffers from sickle cell anemia. He applied for a position with the defendant.
