Microsoft didn’t transmit “personally identifiable information” in violation of its customer license agreement when it collected users’ IP addresses, a U.S. District Court in Washington has ruled.
The plaintiff filed a putative class action against Microsoft, alleging that it violated the terms of the customer license agreement.
